Is just me who loathes the Duke absolutely?? Like we all know he's decent to shuli but just because somebody behaves in front of someone they are required to respect does never means they are of good character right?? No matter what the prince says It Is A Parent aka Father's(in this case) Job to protect Noah cause newsflash Its his Frickin Kid. No matter the manipulation his father should have always been the one who believes in their child first. It is Also a part of of the duchess's fault too! She is an equal parent! If Shuli can rule a Frickin March she can talk to her damn husband about their child. But you know it shouldn't be her responsibility to somehow beg the Duke to turn into a reasonable parent in the first place. She has provided Nora with comfort and let him live the best she could. It's the frickin Duke that pisses me off. People always act the like it's just the prince that's bad but That's like placing all the blame on the other woman when she wasn't the one who made the vows in the first place Your Husband Was. The prince was a terrible person but he didn't owe Noah nothing His Only Real Father Did. I hardly really even doubt we'll get an apology out of his condescending ass. Maybe this is me reflecting me being the less favoured child onto Noah's situation. But he'll probably gaslight the f out of it. 'Oh that was long ago don't bring that sh t up now' 'Oh it wasn't that bad you're f*kin dramatic' 'Oh poor you throw a pity party do you know how hard MY childhood was?' 'I had my reasons' . Never a goddamn apology. I'd had my friends hype me up a hundred times like shuli did for the exact reasons just to return a sobbing mess of hurt pain disappointment and humiliation. An apology would be temporary. It'd be like the nurse offering you ice after you've been hit by a wrecking ball. It would only be upto Noah to accept but I'd bet the duke'd think he was being 'unreasonable' for having to think about it. As if 'oh im doing you such a favor by apologizing'. I really do hope Noah cuts all emotions offf from his father. He deserves to.
