Kinda wish both of em would dump crown prince for each other and have a close friendship where they act and look out for each other and support each other for Christ sakes because they are the just perfectly adequate to be each others character foils and maybe we could see some tremendous growth and strive towards becoming self-reliant together while leaning on only each other for support-

I think I vaguely understand everything but it's rather irritating that it's difficult to theorise what will happen next. Wol Yun's character was very abruptly introduced and never fleshed out properly, so it's hard to guess if I want to side with him despite him being the villain or not. And then we come to Myojin, I think he genuinely doesn't care about most things and fucks around with most important figures but recognizes with the last bit of sanity he has left how troublesome it would be to have Wol Yun rule as emperor. As for the guard, he is very naive and facing rejection for the first time is baffled on how to handle. My problem is I just can't whether Myojin is being absurdly smart and tricking the guard whilst actually siding with the emperor or if he's just a dumb ass and the old age is actually getting to him. I wish they'd also flesh out on the emperors plans. A war is breaking out? When? Why? Where? How? Most of these questions are left in plot holes.
