Honestly I'm itching to read this so bad....I did start it but it pained me to wait for a week for the update so I decided to binge read once it's over....
I've been putting this off for a long time because I thought it was only smut, but when I watched the series I was so wrong.....the plot is just so beautiful, tbh not everyone's cup of tea, noir (sort of?) series like this is usually not enjoyed by many. But for me personally it was a good mix of plot + smut and overall a good mature romance with a happy ending ♡
This was nice but I feel ML was being too immature about many things and he was kinda toxic tho much better off than some insanely toxic MLs out there. I really felt that the MC was giving leeway to the ML, maybe because he's the more calmer and mature of them two.
I wished tho the ML would have a character development, like a stark difference from the way he started off. The story would have been much more better. But overall, it was enjoyable and the fact that they both managed to keep the relationship intact till the end speaks a lot. Good read.

The author Mo Xiang Tong Jiu (mxtx) has only 3 novels published: Tgcf, Mdzs and Scum Villain, and if I'm not wrong there's also a fourth book in the works so this is not written by the same author.
Starember quit, and since it's being licensed by lehzin, there will definitely be a difference in the art but I wonder to what extent that will effect in the reading experience....anyways eagerly waiting for this, tgcf is my all time fav novel
I really liked this, but I hope there was something related to the marks too.....tbh I was kinda hoping the marks to evolve into something concrete
honestly I hate something ending in a cliffhanger so I'm waiting.....but patience is not my best quality :"(
