The mature version really shows that Wolfgang has a possessive darkside and he’s not all fluffy as he seems. And that reflects to the part where the previous kings said he would be like him in some way. Being a pedo is ruled out, and I’m pretty sure everyone knows it has to do with Shin, Wolfgang really shows this ugly possessiveness that his father had, and his desire for Shin just keeps growing. They’re mutually and genuinely in love for sure, but I feel like Wolfgang shows his affection in physical possessiveness in a way? I don’t know what I’m saying, but all I know is this series is awesome and I love Wolfgang and Shin. I hope they get their happy ending <3
Violent? Is it because of that scene where Wolfgang was being violently sexual towards Shin because of jealousy? That scene never actually happened. It was Haiyan's imagination. He imagined it that way, the reasons being either he thought of Wolfgang being like his father(the previous king) who was cruel and a total dickhead, or he was into BDSM and wanted to see Shin being dominated (or could be both reasons).
Just a reminder that the dad IS a piece of shit, and will ALWAYS be a piece of shit. And if you apologize him for the shit he’s done... please rethink it. I’ve read spoilers and stuff but no matter how you JUSTIFY his actions, it doesn’t excuse it. Keira definitely has scars from him. Let me remind you, he was a shitty father even before that gurl coshitte came. He was neglectful and absent in Keira’s childhood, which leaves a child fucked up. He did nothing to protect her from the outside world, using the flimsy excuse of being a noble and noble children should be flawless to literally raise his child wrong. So don’t be so quick to forgive him just cause he’s being “considerate”. Fuck him. I rest my case.
He’s not neglecting her now, he neglected her in the previous timeline. Both her and her brother have the same treatment. The difference is Keira worked hard for her father to a knowledge her and after dying in the previous timeline, she gave that up and decided to live only for herself and to secure a safe route for herself if history happens to repeat itself.
He’s those types of workaholic parents who have little to no room for their children. In this timeline however, since he thinks that what happened in the previous timeline is some bad dream he had, he’s paying more attention to her.
He neglected her because, nobles in her family aren’t supposed to show love to their children cause they want them to be “strong leaders” or some bullshit like that. I think because Zeke is the next man of the house the father gave me more attention than Keira. But you can see that Zeke likes his sister more than his father.
Before the asshole father gets forgiven by her , which sucks, but we all know it’s coming, just go back to chapter 5 page 3 or literally the first chapter. He fucking lays his hands on her. And that much, a slap, is enough to bring my blood to a fucking boil. And that’s not even bad, he literally gave the order to kill her, I don’t care if it “pained” him to see her getting executed. I don’t give a fuck if he gets a redemption arc, like the trope abusive fathers getting forgiven is so overrated, I hate it. Like they’re unforgivable assholes and in modern time, they need to go to jail. I am so sick of seeing abusive fathers being forgiven by their children in fiction. I just need a good manga/manhwa/manhua where the MC doesn’t put up with any shit in their second life and just builds a happy life in a cottage core setting. Because that’s possible in fiction, in life, well if you’re lucky you can escape abusive parents but it’s not the case all the time so yeah... fuck abusive parents.
If he was literally forced to be the way he was by Cosette I would find Keira's father redeemable but that still doesn't mean I'd expect Keira to either forgive OR not forgive him (the choice is ENTIRELY up to Keira or the author as the case may be). But there is even evidence from before that proves that this is ABSOLUTELY not true, similar to what we see in the case of Ruve from The Abandoned Empress.
