The whole manhwa is taking place before the actual original MC of the story novel appears, aka the son of the king (our current white haired character). Thus he’s technically a father from the original female MC’s eyes (as she originally had read the novel) and continues to call him that way lol

She wants to marry the white haired king and prevent his son (who he has with the dark haired lady (the "future story in the beginning of the manhwa)) and prevent his death. The son in the story that she knows has half divine and dark powers ( the dark haired lady has dark powers). He kills the white haired king and loves her sister's daughter but the daughter loves the Knight's son. So the king's son becomes the villain. I hope this explained it.
