I personally think that most of the Japanese manga plots are so well put together, like there’s no stalling just to make the manga longer, there’s no unimportant side talk, just real and plot related events. The characters development is SO GOOD and how the plot escalates is a “chef’s kiss”. I rarely find that in other types of manga.
I 100% agree! When I first started reading I mostly read webtoons or manhwas because it was “easier” if that makes sense, but after I started reading Japanese mangas I just loved it wayyyy more!!! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Yeahhh, I think it’s because a lot of the time webtoon authors have to do a certain amount of chapters which can lead to the story being too rushed or too slow paced. I’m not sure how it works for the manga industry but a lot of the time the pacing is just nicer than it is in webtoons, and this is coming from someone who used to only read colored manhwa
