Sachi’s around my age, and forget pregnancy, I can’t even think abt sex irl (even if I do, it’s only with women). If I was in sachi’s position I personally think I’ll decide to abort since pregnancy leaves permanent changes physically & mentally. Sure abortion does have repercussions but all my future aspirations & dreams seem very difficult, if not impossible by giving birth as a teen. Also if I’m not a fully functioning adult, how the hell would I take care of another living being. I understand Sachi’s character is obviously different from who I am and I’m just having a hard time empathising with her, I dont know why.

You’re not overthinking it, these are natural thoughts to have when it comes to pregnancy. It was also easy to put myself in Sachi’s shoes and to think about what I’d do in her position. The case is also the same for me where i’m having trouble empathizing with Sachi, since I’m quite a strong-willed person and I wouldn’t really hesitate to abort.. Especially after taking into consideration how a child could affect my future and my life. But not everybody could make this decision so easily like Sachi. She doesn’t want to abort, but she’s also afraid of taking on the responsibility of caring for a living being. However when I saw Sachi’s breakdown, I realized that if I was young and pregnant like her, I would also be afraid.
