Well the ending is nice but it will be amazing if they have some extra chapter where they started dating and get married well over all its a nice story(⌒▽⌒)
Ahhhhh it's only my opinion but i can't stomach it because he married some concubines ang got one of them pregnant i really thought maybe just maybe the story it will somehow change by the emperor not marrying someone else and only paulina he will marry im soooooo disapointed maybe i will be more happy if he is not a good person like some stories where the ml is a cold , arrogant and toxic my heart is broken so i will not continue to read this anymore since i only want share my thought in this and it's only my opinion byebyebye

FACTS IM VERY MUCH SO DISAPOINTMENTED I SAT THREW ALL OF THIS READING SLL THE CHAPTER FOR THEM NOT TO BE TOGETHER AND FOR HIM TO HAVE A BABY WITH ONE OF THE CONCUBINES I THOUGHT THEY WAS GONNA BE TOGETHER BRO WHATS THE POINT OF THIS STORY THEN?
Honestly i totally feel you! its like really unfulfilling that they aren't together despite Pauliana being a very happy character amd fulfilled at this point in the story and we don't see much of the emperor showing his adoration for Pauliana anymore, like he's jist accepted it and his love for her has just disappeared. At the same time, this unfulfilled coupling of the two really makes this story different from the others as all readers had expected them to be together but the author has drawn a realistic line between the two.
I want to drop because the coupling between the emperor and Pauliana is basically a no-go but Pauliana is such a god, I can't give up such a story with an OP character like her

To be honest for me it's like paulina is a mistress here and like it's not good to see how still the ml is the emperor we all know the emperor love paulina but why can't he wait for her or just he should at least done something to make her fall for him is he really that in a hurry to make an heir if he really love her and treasure her and doesn't want another man to stand beside her he should know how to wait and make her fall for him because love can wait
But really i want a new ml hahahaha maybe i will reconsider reading it again
