Some people reading this seem to think denying and talking over illegal uploaders who ask for minimum courtesy makes their consumption of pirated content any better than that of others who believe in maintaining harmony among illegal uploaders. It's such hypocrisy to treat illegal uploaders with contempt and trivialize the effort put into the translation work they do just because it's illegal, and then continue reading those illegal works themselves.
Treating contemptuously the illegal uploader of the work you illegally read won't make your consumption of illegal content ethical in any way; it makes your consumption hypocritical in all ways. In any case, illegal readers who buy through official channels when they can and illegal uploaders who don't immediately upload as soon as a new chapter is out are definitely more ethical.
Exhibit: They want illegal uploaders to shut up about getting uploaded over because "it's only the author that's getting harmed" but also admittedly wants illegal stuff to be uploaded as soon as possible so they can get their fix and read it ASAP?
What's in a notice that makes it so abhorrent to these people when they see illegal uploaders posting notices that no one is forced to read? Just walk the talk and stop reading here if you're so troubled by it. And yeet your shameless hypocrisy out of everyone else's faces.
Btw, way to go for the uploaders who respectfully resolved the issue between them. /endrant
