After asahi's talk in chap 5 and confession haruto realizes what he and his brother are going through a traumatic experience of haruto being parentificated and asahi's thinking he loves his brother in that way but in reality he pushed that project on to his brother because of how the family was and haruto Seeing the problem after the talk haruto decides to go to counseling or therapy with his brother they talk about how haruto felt as he had to take such of a responsibly because of his father not having a job and after all that work he than felt like he was just tossed away making him lost, alone, and depressed after that haruto decideds to get his life together and asahi seeing this change from his brother than realizes he just wanted his brother to be happy and these feelings was just some weird traumatic projection and decides to stop pursuing his brother he is still gay though he realizes that through his co-worker who was in love with him and they get together in the end haruto having talked to his brother and his brother apologizing for that weird confession is just happy his younger brother found someone haruto also realizes the girl Miki was toxic as hell and leaves her never talking to her again he than starts a job meets a woman who loves him as the hardworking person he is they get together and the end
the story is just about a younger brother wanting to help his big brother and he did help him by making him be himself again and happy and they all lived happily ever after
