AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I can't, this was so *raw*, I love how you can just *tell* that this was a real story, how he fell in love again and again and how even when he did date, it didn't always work out and how he did, in the end, find the man he wanted to marry!!! it's so beautiful, I legit cried when he came out to his friends!!! I'm blessed that in this day and age, me coming out as bi to my friends was not a huge deal and that my school isn't lgbtq+phobic (its very inclusive actually) and oh my god, it just HURT to see how much he had to suffer, how he couldn't accept himself, its so sad that the people around him were like that when he was growing up. also, his second love was just.... oh it just hurt so much. I completely relate, tho for me it was more subdued, i just felt sad that my crush would talk to me about her boyfriends.... but ohh my godddd their wedding was so cute, i loved it(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I get it, he's hot (for a c h i l d) but god damn, you can't just let it be bygones because he suddenly decides he loves her. what if he thinks he no longer loves her and she does something to piss him off??? its a recipe for disaster. a toxic couple right there. please think of the ramifications for the MC. she did everything for him in the original timeline. she knew what he liked, she did what he told her to do, all she couldn't do was let go of her dignity as a human being (which the prince or i guess king at that point should NEVER have asked her for) and he forced himslef on her, killed her unborn child, killed her father and them her too at the end. how could someone like that, who she did nothing to except make the best of her situatiom, to love her all of a sudden??? why would he love her for all the things she did, when he hated her for them before??? he literlly wont even let her live her own life the way she wants to????????????? like for gods sake this is just bad.

Stop pinning the wrong stuff he didnt do in the current timeline. And he isnt suddenly inlove with her. He was truly inlove with Tia since the beginning, even in the 1st timeline. You probably didnt know but Tia was not an angel too in the 1st timeline. Its what irks me because webtoon made it look like shes an angle sent from heaven in the 1st timeline. Yes, bad things happened to her. Bo excuse for the bad actions of prince but shes not purely faultless

oh, I didn't mean to come across as thinking that tia is perfect, God knows that woman had issues, my issue was a bit more broad. cuz like god damn, the way that they really said, it's ok that he raped her and killed her because he loved her. that's not healthy. that not GOOD. and that's just facts man. you're not going to root for someone to go back to their abuser or for them to go back to a toxic relationship. And I mean this for both her AND the prince.
Also, and this is purely because I'm genuinely confused, what difference does it make that it's a different timeline?? its the same universe?? and the reasons for him being that bad to her still exist?? when he realised what he did to her in another timeline, he should have stayed away from her. that's that. they did not have a good relationship, they are not compatible. a person likes the original timeline prince cant change that fact and that completely. TBH I have a problem with tia as a whole character but I'm not going to get into that.
however, the point of my comment was that this manga glorified trauma from a toxic relationship. HE RAPED HER. THAT IS NOT OK. AT ALL. AND HER STILL HAVING FEELING FOR HIM IS LITERALLY SO DAMAGING. no one, who has actually been abused (and yes, i AM speaking from personal experience) would want to go back to them.

I think that you might have missed some things in the plot. Because I 100% understand what you mean and why you hate Ruve(I’m ahead in the novel and I only came into this site because tappytoons doesn’t have a comment section), however he is a completely different person in this timeline than he was before. And the MC addresses this point numerous times, but she doesn’t want to accept this yet because she is not ready to.
She is now evaluating him based on who is he NOW and what his current actions are NOW, because she knows fully that the person that she knew before NO LONGER exist(and it would be nearly impossible for him to ever exist again at this point if you look closely). This Ruve is a different Ruve with a different mindset, thought, experiences, and actions. And if you remember, we see THAT Ruve disappears way before he finds the letter that was written to Arista in the earlier chapters talking about her past life. And we see how he couldn’t believe how he was portrayed because he was longer that hateful towards her and was already changing into who he is now. He still has a long way to go but he is no where near where he use to be before.
And we also did learn that he always loved her, he just resented her for things that she had no control over(not jusitifying what he did before at all but we can’t hold that against HIM but we can against the other Ruve because he is a different Ruve). He never truly loved Jieun and Jieun even tells us this and of what occurs after her death.

yes but are u saying a guy who is pushy and cannot communicate to the person he loves a good match. He hides the fact that he is concerned when she got poisoned. How much can tia be on love with someone who doesnt come to see her when sick and only says im glad your alright after a random encounter in the halls. I know he secretly went to see her , how does she know that, cbut hell this relationship would spiral into paranoia as they cant communicate even when the loved one could die.
I get that the author wanted to represent a different religion but man, this just hurt me to read as a 'Muslim'(i was raised Muslim but I'm not 'exactly' Muslim anymore) the turban I guess could just be an artistic choice but in reality, the hair shouldn't be out and I too would be offended if i was a literal royalty . And why would you choose a big religion if you were going to be negative about it. This was honestly so hard for me to read.....(⊙…⊙ )

Muslims with turbans exist and I don't feel they were really portrayed them in a negative way.
The only thing I will say, it's a romantic comic. So artistic license is taken with hair and etc. I have seen this done with all manner of races, religions, position in government etc. He is drawn to be gorgeous
I totally agree when they referred to rules of their religion as "annoying" that really irked me.
I don't like it when the author potray the muslim man as a grumbler and hot temper person who think other people other than their religion is pagan and easily get mad when people doesn't know their special diet.
Sorry we are sometimes sensitive regarding matter like this T^T, cus sometimes people that portraying us don't do us justice. Almost always portrayed as intolerant and restricted as heck, etc. So we were worried people will misunderstood against muslim again.. (￣∇￣")
