I’m sorry but am I the only one who thinks Jennie was a bad friend? I get she had a mental illness due to her abusive situation but she quite literally plucked a guy from her school out of reality, made up an entire plot about him and who he was and dragged her friend who she verbally abused at every turn into her dream world. She was a pathological liar, probably a consequence of her poor mental health, but nevertheless someone who got away with abusing Peter because he was nice and understanding of her situation. I really tried being sensitive to her character because it’s not her fault her mom abused her and she found a way of coping but when you turn around and abuse your friends too I draw the line. I really feel for Peter who is still stuck on this idea that he was the bad friend, goes to show you how shitty she was. Half of the reason the practical joke went so far is because she wouldn’t listen to Peter telling her about the handwriting. She was delusional in every sense.
I don't think so, she is bipolar,so someone with an illness... it's another way to say that she not able to understand her own action because she lives on her fantasy because of her hard life. The uke knew it from the start but he decided to believe it because he felt responsible because she died when he ignored her...
I ge that, which is why it took me so long to start to dislike her. I really did like her in the beginning because she had so many positive attributes about her. But I think it was the authors intention to show more and more negative sides of her as time went on and we got to see who she really is. I think Peter also romanticizes his time with Jennie a lot which is why things are nice in the beginning and slowly the reader sees more of the real Jennie.
I’m not an expert on bi-polar disorder but I do have my fair share of mental issues and I can somewhat say that even someone who struggles with mental health won’t abuse their friends verbally and physically. There are lines you don’t cross.
Ooohhhh l’m loving this story so far! It’s super complex, there’s a lot to digest and since the plot keeps changing you never know what to expect. It’s kind of cool how the character came to life and how it strays away from the typical isekai manwha. I hope Romeo remembers his last because he is a victim of this game as much as Juliet
Y’all are ripping this one to shreds, when it’s actually not that bad. It’s light and kind of dumb, which is exactly what it’s meant to be.
Agreed, gives the vibe of a light& dumb drama that passes on tv (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
