Completely agree. I do like badass characters but I wish there was more substance. Like they can be witty, sarcastic, intelligent, funny, and more. Like not everything has to be so serious all the time. I like how she’s acting rn bc she’s acting like a child and she is one. So I’m fine with it I just hope you becomes a little more like a person irl than just a character. I feel like that’s what is missing in most manhwas, movies, and shows.
ikr maybe thats why side characters are more intresting sometimes because it feels like protagonist are written a certain way and genres like shoujo and shounen have their own rules which certain tropes which they mostl likely fall to. i mean tropes arent necaxarily bad when they're exucuted nicely but most of the time you get bored of thosen patterns especially after watching 16+ animes and mangas and yeah you dont always see kids acting like kids in mangas so its a little refreshing, and i hope so too:)
