I've read both stories and didn't think anything was wrong until it got pointed out. Like I'm a sucker for the childhood friends to lovers trope and thought the similarities were just on the surface (like how the plot of most romcom hallmark movies are).
Sucks because the art for this story was great, and the pacing was good too. Just too bad that it was made from the back of a stolen piece.
