Close to the end of the story MC goes back into his first life's personality out of nowhere imo, like they already had the talk and forgave each other, but then the author probably got bored of the plot or something and made MC so soooooo different, it was jarring. They end happily ever after but I hope the writing in this one is different bc the original will make you go huhhhh????

wow I did not think that, I had the theory that he did in fact have split personality and that the 'good one' who thinks he got into the novel. Is in fact just a 'made up person' that the OG the one who gets purchased and raped 'made' to protect himself.
Like i thought that they did get to live their lifes a second time and remember their past lifes, but only this time did MC get split personalities. And 'made up' that he was from another world and that this is just a novel.
first I thought it was three lives but the end of S1 made me come up with this theory instead. damn I would have liked that. What a plottwist it could have been!

From my understanding, his submissive nature is an outcome from his succubus side as well. That's also why Leo's there in the story, he's there to guide Arata about the right way to service his submissive. It was shown when he was telling Arata how to properly prepare Shinya for sex and also care of his childhood friend.
And he's also an adult too, like he just has the short gene. Also equating the height to how a character or someone should act and look like is damaging y'know to actual real people...ಠ_ಠ
