The relationship with the father is obviously messed up, but the pacing with the son to the end and how they end up together doesn't flow naturally in my opinion. Nothing about either relationship screams 'love'. One was obsessive and overbearingly toxic, while the other thought he was looking out for him. I wouldn't say he was all that infatuated him either. Man got hard and that scene was just awkward when they had sex in the practice room.
Wife is trash as well. You all both sleep around and she's in a hissy fit because the man didn't want her. It's a business marriage. Yes, they could've tried to see if they could get along but ultimately you can't force someone who doesn't want a relationship like that. Going as far as to ruin someone else's life? Trashy. Get what you both signed up for and then get put the marriage. Not like it was a sacred union in the first place!
