…I got thrown into volunteer missions in unfortunate places and after weeks of living poorly while helping treat injuries, illnesses, and taking care of the refugees…well it changed me. Forced me to see that the world doesn’t revolve around me. That life is just life, and there are so many things that hinge on luck. No amount of tantrums can wish a storm away. No money can resurrect the dead. I realised that money is a tool best used for making life better for everyone and that time is precious. Being kind and patient is difficult but it is what people really need and also what I might someday be the one in need of. Liking people is a matter of wanting to; no matter how grumpy or unfair they are, just first decide to like them then get to know them with that mindset. You’ll eventually find one or more things to like about them and end up liking them for real. Humans aren’t that complicated. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Because i’m a self-aware jerk that had a character glow up. So i find it really heartwarming when jerk characters meet kind, patient people.
I also enjoy it when the jerk characters get dragged because hey i went through that, it strengthens character lol
