Honestly i get where the ex is coming from. He wasn’t originally into men and then came to like our MC. I see how it scares him to come out especially when you don’t know how to handle the situation and tell your parents and dying relatives. I believe things would have be fine if they were BOTH just realizing they like men but because our MC had already came out, it’s too much on his heart to be with someone who isn’t ready to express his love. Our MC needs someone who is willing able to love him publicly without treating him like a dirty little secret. But yea…. I guess I get both sides of the characters and that’s why I get sad and can’t really hate the ex. Don’t get me wrong, his current behavior is pretty trashy, but for some I really can’t hate him.
