I doubt the ML’s father killed her mother. I think that her adoptive parent’s (the count and countess) killed her mom, and then they blamed it on the ML’s father. That way she can direct her anger at the ML, weakening their relationship, and her adoptive parents will be able to control her more easily.
I saw a snippet of this on tiktok and thought it would be a good read. What caught my interest was her relationship with the blue haired children, I thought they had a nice “sibling” like relationship. I didn’t think too much of the romance aspect I thought she would just end up with her childhood friend, so I was very surprised to see the cover and find out that the blue haired boy was the male lead. Safe to say I’m literally not reading this as I cant be asked to deal with the drama.
The last time I read this was in 2021…why is she still a baby. We need a time skip bc I literally cannot take this seriously.
This story is very lackluster but I will still see it through to the end. My biggest problem with this is evie and violet’s relationship, like it’s very complex and that’s not the problem but violet is constantly doing stuff that he knows will hurt evie and when she’s actually hurt he’s full of regret. I understand he hates making her feel sad bc he loves her but he continues to lead her on by constantly favoring her, showing affection, and even kissing her. Then when he suddenly remembers that the completion was made so that she can’t win and that he will only end up hurting her in the end he tries distance himself. And like whatever I guess since they obviously end up together so at the end of the day it doesn’t matter, but it’s the same shit every two chapters like let’s do something new. Also there are so many interesting characters (much more so than the FL) but once we start getting to know them they disappear, for example the red head who wants to go to the mage tower, and the girl with the really good sense of fashion who became stylists apprentice.
Sigh time for me to start another copy and paste manwha
