I really like the ending. I don’t usually like the “sex friend to lover” trope, but this one does its best to outline the fact that lust shouldn’t be the only thing that matters in love and a genuine relationship. The smallest things also matter, like talking together, laughing together, all out enjoying the time spent with the person you like.
It was a rocky road with this one, but just for those last two pages, I’m giving it 4 stars. Doesn’t change the fact that I didn’t really like most of the story tho. There wasn’t much character development in the uke, and it seemed like only the seme struggling.
Overall, story: 3 stars, last page: 4 stars. More chapters could have given this a bit more potential.

This story has a lot of potential. It was a nice storyline that gave a look into their respective jobs. It gives the story an element that a lot of other yaoi don’t have, and adds to the plot.
However, I feel it would have been great if the relationship between them was more fleshed out and developed. It was a bit rushed. Since the story focused more on their jobs, we didn’t get as much opportunity to see their relationship really develop.
This started out on a premise that i dont usually like and try to avoid in yaoi (lust before love, sex before even confirming feelings or a relationship), but this one really pulled it off so well that i didnt even mind... that much. I love both characters, and its obvious how much chemistry they have between each other. Both are cute and funny, and i love that they try their best to communicate with each other without letting the assumptions and misunderstandings drag out too long.
But frig sensei ya really got me there bruh. Making me wait 60 chapters before making them an official couple damn. But ahh well. Its not like it wasnt worth the wait.
Anyways. PLEASE GIMME MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE!!!!!!!!

Omygosh omygosh omygoshhhhhhh! I’m only on the second chapter and I gotta say, damn man this sensei’s works are really intriguing. The characters are drawn so realistically, the proportions are well done (unlike those manga where everyone is so unnecessarily pretty that it messes wit ur aesthetic sense. I mean, not like there’s anything wrong with that, since it’s pleasing to the eyes. But still my guy.). The story is just so.... damn. “On doorstep” is the first of this person’s work I’ve read, and it’s the one that brought me here. I’ve gotta say bruh, this sensei really has a talent for writing ‘on the edge of your seat’ manga.

Oml i freckin LOVE this!!! The female lead is so cool and strong~ she’s not the strongest, but she is steadily improving (system is “lowkey” OP tho lol). I love that fact, that shes not over the top OP (yet) and still has room for improvement. I also love the fact that her husband is so strong and handsome, no one can go against him in strength or power (in terms of sociostatus). And best of all, THEY ARE SO FLIPPIN CUTE TOGETHER!!! LIKE WHAT?!!? OMG. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ I cant get enough of them. Im looking forward to them falling more in love with each other, and making all who oppose and look down on them eat dirt. (︶︿︶)＝凸

Omg.... what a painful ending..... Idk what to feel... What a rollercoaster of emotions that was. The author did well in portraying the corruption in the police, as well as the grey area of trying to do the ‘right’ thing. The fact that convicting an innocent person ruined one person’s life but saved the suspect who was most likely framed, the fact that turning that corruption around by freeing the innocent person and continuing the case only caused more grief and spiraled into something worse, ending up with only more deaths. This was truly a magnificent piece.
I wish the two mc’s didn’t have to die, and had a chance to go somewhere and live free & comfortably, just the two of them. But I guess... that they’re.... together now... so to say... (╥_╥). I’m happy they at least had some happy times together, and that they were together in the end..
Anyways. This was a memorable piece, breaking away from the “everything has happy endings”
Though. I can’t help but feel that damn cop kinda deserved it. He shouldn’t have died tho, but get tortur-... ahem. Good story.
The corrupt officer wasn't trying to save anyone though. And if he had actually done his job from the beginning three innocent people would have been saved not just one. Everything can be laid entirely at his doorstep. So yeah he deserved everything he got and then some.
