i actually rlly like her character i mean yah shes “mean” sometimes but its rlly not that deep it just adds comedy to the plot. also it makes an interesting dynamic with the male lead. i see alot of manhwas with the female lead as someone being on the 100% end of the spectrum of being pure and kind which essentially wut makes them THE female lead and seperates them from the other characters, nothing wrong with that but its interesting to see a fl with duality and isn’t completely subjected to a specific type of personality. and seeing a flawed character is interesting bc u get to see them grow

Idk wut yall are on but the dynamic between the second couple is more interesting to me maybe its bc they have opposite charactheristics. but its not like the first couple is boring either i just feel like their relationship doesnt rlly have anymore room for growth while the second one is more complex and still have other things to resolve.
to u guys confused why she wont take the deal even though it sounds good, its bc it doesnt sit well with her morality and pride. she doesnt want her parents to be emotionally invested in her relationship and marriage just for it to be sham. whether they know its a sham or not, it weighs heavily on her conscience. also she had to deal with countless insults implied to her parents financial background so she has this sense of responsibility to financially support her parents independently as the only child. idk why yall saying shes annoying ik the guy is hot...but her situation/mindset is honestly understandable
I really don't see why it would even matter if he's handsome or not. As if that would pose a good reason for her to deceive the parents she loves so much. And even if you don't think about the parents part - she is still just a woman who wants happiness, which is something everyone is allowed to wish for, so that definitely makes it hard too. And a year is more than one'd think for a marriage without any positive feelings to be based on.
I agree with both of you.
Sadly, the majority of the readers here are very superficial (me too. I admit that- but not enough to ignore everything else. I'm self centered before anything)and seem to be able to forgive and forget anything as long as the person involved was a handsome man. Today i even read a comment saying they loved the male lead because of how untoxic he was.....he literally blackmailed the main character into dating them-
Yeah, I mean, I'm very superficial too, at the start, but in the end that is pretty unimportant, as soon as the guy (or in other works the girl) is just a douchebag.... nope. Though I still always hope that the one treated wrongly gets some kind of 'revenge' and that there will be a happy ending for the two after that.
I'm still confused btw, that the guy hates her actually that much until many years later, for something that happened in, what, elementary school (don't exactly remember actually)?
