I do not read non-consentual tropes generally, it's not that I don't give them a try, it just doesn't sit right with me. They will make the most trashy seme and then suddenly he is begging on his knees. There is no dimension to such characters. And no concept to their actions.
This one tho was really good. Before you go along with the comments that scream rapey seme, trashy seme whatnot, I would state that in no way have his actions been justified or supported in the story. In fact he is a pretty ok dude except for that forced arrangement (it is contract based setting so I don't think it should be counted as consentual so am calling it forced). There is a reason, a backstory and it hasn't been used to justify his actions but merely the reason for the contract.
Moving on to the MC, he is very reasonable and not at all like your typical MC who are suddenly so in love but then are totally unhinged and don't forgive ML but then suddenly do. You will see a lot of development in his character. He stood up for the fact that what the ML had done could not be forgiven and his father's mistake shouldn't have been taken out on him in the first place.
Lastly overall, both the characters matured a lot throughout the story and both of them were still in their characters. If I had to say, it reminds me of Painter Behind the Curtain, the characters and the revenge setting is similar.
Definitely give it a try.
