Time he calls him steamed bun. It throws me off so hard. Why bother make it a western fantasy setting and then shoving steamed buns down my throat
In my case it disrupts the immersion in the story. While it isn't a new concept in comedy or a new food in korea or europe.... the cute 'nickname' doesn't sound like one in the translation. So i everytime read the name i will think of the word manju/ Jjinppang. Even if I force myself I can't see Asha as a Germknödel either.
if she got married to him for whatever reason, wouldn't she turn back the way she was before and then change into her mother when she's older? We haven't seen a lot about her parents but:
Nii is picky about manners. Ririko has extreme anxiety and was rigorously trained to be perfect by her mom. Living together with Nii would worsen her situation. Although she is stronger now, who says that this botched Ken-doll wouldn't rather break her completely than bend himself by a millimeter? His empathy only extends to the world and himself.
He has an inferiority complex towards her and avoids her like her presence will kill him. (Well it probably does kill his privileged narcistic **s and hurts his elitist ego.)
I will quote my favorite novel: Right now you can only see how much she is in love with him. But I can see how she's going to get over him.
Btw rereading for the 8th time. Whenever the end is clear, I will forever wish for Ririko getting the happiness she deserves.
Father wanted to abandon him. But is saved by Ramel. Even then continues getting played like a loser by outsiders instead of listening to his parents, sister OR beloved brother. Guess the father didn't plan on kicking him out for nothing. Now he proceeds to make a move on MC??? Cute as a puppy? Ramel underestimated his puppets 1 and 2.
Etienne's mother makes the story much more interesting than it would ever be without her. We have a abused child, his typical saviour ML and a deadbeat father. If it weren't for this nutcase mom I wouldn't be able to continue reading this because of boredom. I can't get myself to like/ feel empathy for Etienne's and Rishar's story. It's so normal in this abnormal story that it tastes really bland. Am I wrecked?
Under grand hotel? It's japanese though. This feels like the modern version
I remember that !!
I could never forget utgh!
Context please
Ye olde yoai manga about men in prison. It's pretty brutal, makes this look tame tbh
Thank you.
