Etienne's mother makes the story much more interesting than it would ever be without her. We have a abused child, his typical saviour ML and a deadbeat father. If it weren't for this nutcase mom I wouldn't be able to continue reading this because of boredom. I can't get myself to like/ feel empathy for Etienne's and Rishar's story. It's so normal in this abnormal story that it tastes really bland. Am I wrecked?

Father wanted to abandon him. But is saved by Ramel. Even then continues getting played like a loser by outsiders instead of listening to his parents, sister OR beloved brother. Guess the father didn't plan on kicking him out for nothing. Now he proceeds to make a move on MC??? Cute as a puppy? Ramel underestimated his puppets 1 and 2.
