From the site I’m reading on, the events happening rn should be chapter 94 in the novel
I couldn’t read it anymore after she used her life force for the magic powers… Like it felt messy and out of place overall. So, I skimmed through it, and they’re still building up to the climax, haven’t truly gotten together, and she’s not the empress yet. I’ll wait for the epilogue to pick it back up…
Again, this is just my opinion of the story. I love this story, but I don’t like how she suddenly needs immense power to take the throne. She could’ve gotten support from the Kendry Duchy, gain support from the emperor, etc. After that, maybe she could’ve gotten the powers from the garden place… idk.
Also, where did Heinrich go…? He’s become completely irrelevant—or at least as I skimmed though he has. I haven’t seen him since the kidnapping incident. I feel they only use Heinrich as a plot device to blame evil attacks on.

I agree it got messy. But I don't think she would have been able to do much without her magic tbh. Rezef is like a complete psycho. It irritates me how unnecessarily strong her powers are tho. Like she needed low level magic and they made her a 'god' just to shorten her lifespan to 10 days...
I don't think she would have been able to gain much support tho, unfortunately. A lot of these men have given me major misogynistic vibes. I mean otherwise why follow the crazy tyrant prince rather than the level headed princess who is literally in charge right now.
