The athy rn just forgot that she was the original athy by some creepy magician. In the original claude felt bad for athy when she died but jenneate or whatever kept saying to claude that its ok and dont mind her- Jenneqte was a crazy bitch in the original.. yupp this is true i’ve actually read the novel. however, sorry to disappoint but the manhwa almost completely drifted away from the plot of the novel. manhwa and novel of this is only similar until claude had amnesia and athy ran away when claude tried to kill her in the garden. after this, everything different already so novel spoiler aren’t really helpful huhu. but ngl the novel was more fluffy and less drama.
example of the difference:
here in the manhwa, while athy was away, jeanette is always summoned by claude to ease his headache.
but in the novel, jeanette was NEVER summoned by claude the entire time he had amnesia. also unlike here in the manhwa, claude was more desperate to find athy even when he had amnesia. to the point the he even set up a trap and threatened the lives of felix, lily, and obelian ppl so that athy would come back to him. he has more character in the novel and has his a lot of POVs and it made me luv him even more huhu
so yeah novel spoilers are completely irrelevant now on the manhwa’s plot
