Okay, so this just one of those rants. So I recently got in touch with one of Lesbian friends online (I'm a Gay guy BTW) and she found out that I read Yaoi. When she asked whether or not I liked reading Yaoi, I replied "Yeah sure, of course I do".
As soon as I said that, she started saying things like :
"Why ? Aren't you Gay ?" "Why do you read those mangas meant for disgusting Fujoushis ?"
People, Yaoi mangas RARELY portray ACTUAL GAYS. They are meant to be works of Fiction. THAT'S WHY I READ THEM. They may be the byproducts of Fantasies, but I personally Love reading them, so fuck off. It's not meant to represent actual gays. Its like how some men watch lesbian porn and enjoy it. People who read Yaoi aren't disrespecting Gay men. It's simply what they enjoy reading to catch a break from REAL LIFE. So please get off your High Horse.
