I dont feel bad abt the ending for the Ronan family, i mean with what they made fl go through in both tls, they deserve it but when they started that rebellion near the end it all became useless in the end HAHA bc fl came back on that same day. All the works and efforts before went down the drain but i guess all is well that ends well

this only further shows her trauma. and deep rooted trauma like this doesn't magically disappear. she lost EVERYONE she cared about and had been abused since childhood. Now she finally has people, and a person she can call family and the fear of losing that newfound home is heartbreaking for someone like miesa...while we all want to see development, I love the pacing of the story. It will make that one courageous step to break free from that fear all the more impactful.
