Does japanese men don't get circumcised?
I'm curious too. Makoto's reaction made it seem like it's not a normal thing in Japan.

It's not necessary for them to get circumcised. More like it's not there in the culture. I am from India so apart from people following Islam, men from other religion don't get circumcised. It's pretty rare for them to it.
I know some fillipino friends and yes it is common in there but doesn't mean it has to be practiced everywhere. Philippine men usually do it for medical purposes. But usually people in middle east do it for religion.
This is a weird discussion I’ve had with my friends of various East Asian backgrounds and it’s not commonly practiced. I’m southeast Asian and its not practiced within my culture.
Apparently 80% of circumcision is practiced in middle east asia, north africa, philippine and south korea.
Whereas only 20% of the world performs this and rest 80% do not undergo this process. This majorly includes Europe, Japan and China.
Damn ok well there ya go ; circumcision isn’t exactly commonly practiced around the world, but 20% is still a huge chunk. to each their own I guess. Gosh... to have discussions about circumcision even online lol O_o
Lol. Ik its funny cause I had this kinda discussions before online and I too found it pretty funny lol. But you know a lot of people have a lot of misunderstanding regarding it. So yea it's all thanks to the curiosity that people have xD
