At 1st all she cares is just get out of there and go back to her real world.. she didn't really raise Eclise bar score with love. She raise the bar score like a slave or tool to go back home . thats why theres a bad result.

Eclise is the 1st one to reach high score in love meter but bc of the way she raise the score meter (w/out love), he became obsessed instead. He got brainwash my the enemy then it became “bad obsession” . He’s like “i’ll do anything as long as ur mine” something like that.

Although FL change and felt somethings gone wrong.. it’s too late now. the bar already reach its limit.

Thats why later.. the score bar will have a diff. color representing their affection to the FL..

Honestly i hate the FL 1st for what happened to eclise. My poor boy just want to get love.

Imo it seems pretty natural that all she cares about is going home. She was dropped in a hostile world where everyone she meets is an enemy and she knows any little mistake can get her killed. She's in survival mode, so I think her motivations are pretty relatable. I wouldn't think about love and I'd want to get out of there more than anything too.

I'm still halfway through extra chapter. But yes eclise protected pene but it's still not sure if eclise really die or not cuz it only said "his body never found" after main story finished (ah sorry my english sucks)

Tbh I agree. The way this story is written, even the dialogue shows that Penelope knows exactly what Eclise wants. It’s not to protect her nor love. He hates this empire because they ruined his. It’s obvious from the start they’re both using each other. That’s why Eclise never said he would give eternal love to Penelope because their relationship was always business from the start. Honestly, I want Penelope with the scary prince because I feel like it’s the only relationship that could become no-strings attached, if you know what I mean. I feel like everywhere else, it’s just about survival and Penelope and the two brothers will never become “one” because she is an outsider from the very start. As soon as Yvonne comes back I feel like it’ll go to hell really fast and she’ll just feel like she doesn’t belong. The crown prince seems to be the kind of person who literally doesn’t give a fuck about shit like manipulation and enjoys it probably so I feel like he may be a good fit with Penelope’s cause. At least it’ll be consented on both sides - the psychological warfare and all. Besides, his situation is probably most similar to hers.

I know what you mean! I'm looking forward to seeing more scenes with the prince soon, and I hope he becomes more central to the story quickly. While I think her relationship with the brothers and Eclise is interesting on some level and I like some of their scenes, the foundation is just too broken. There's just no way they could have a good romantic relationship. And the magician guy bores me tbh. So prince it is.

she wanted to go back bc she just reached "freedom". She worked hard and finally left her family's house and JUST when she leaves, she's isekai'd into a life rlly similar to her first life but now she has to start from scratch to reach that freedom.

i whole heartedly agree! Way too many people are letting their love for Eclise cloud their judgment. Penelope's reaction to her situation is normal. You would have the same reaction if you're dropped into a world where she has to constantly be on guard bc she might get killed. You're not gonna be thinking "lemme fall in love right now." like you're gonna be like "I gotta watch out for blah-blah bc they're a wild card..they could kill me. I have to survive." The fact that ppl are trying to shit on her for that is just wtf.

on top of that her reaction is 100% normal. She is in a life or death situation where her decision determine whether she dies or lives. I mean it's in the title "death is the only ending for the villainess." She wakes up in Penelope's body but on top of all the abuse she faces, she now has to fear being killed off by her family or others (something that she didn't fear in her modern world). At the end of the story, the game world is better in comparison but she worked her ass off to get to that place. She is in survival mode and she's trying to find the safest way for her to go back to her modern world. She literally starts off by making a list with all the male leads and X'ing out all the ones that are risky or have a high probability to lead to her death. No person in their right mind would be focused on love in her situation.

I dont care about her love life, I know she is in survival mode but eclipse got it bad when she got him involved to save herself, she went about it the wrong way and which is why he turned out the way he did. Jus in my opinion tho. I havent read as far as others

i was referencing someone else who said that she should've brought up eclise's favorability with love. Their relationship started with both of them using each other. Penelope spoke of how they were playing the role of master and slave but it was all just an act. Eclise has a deep hatred for their kingdom bc of what they did to his kingdom & Penelope forgets that until Eclise intentionally raises his sword at her. She then realizes that she was mistaken in thinking of Eclise as a safe option bc there is no safe option...they're all willing to KILL her. As long as you're not getting others killed in order for you to survive, there is no wrong way to survive IF your life is on the line. Eclise gets babied but the fact of the matter is he's just like the other ML's. He would've killed her just the same. I can't say that he got the short end of the stick when she was the one who was trying to stop HIM from killer HER. he does redeem himself towards the end but his actions were wrong and it's not fair to put all the blame on penelope while babying Eclise (imo).
