Bottom and top fool around in college. Bottom wants more but top is hesitant so they grow apart.
Fast forward to years later and top goes to bottoms company to publish his book. Bottom is still upset about what happened years ago so he doesn’t submit it for review. He later gives the BDSM author aka old man the tops original work that wasn’t submitted (also in anger/upset). Old man publishes that story.
Top finds out and punishes bottom while recording it all. Top sends that video to the old man with threats since it’s plagiarism and he’s upset at both bottom and old man. Old man is upset at bottom so he punishes him (also with BDSM). Old man actually hated his original BDSM novel so when he found out bottom loves that story, he couldn’t stay mad and let the bottom go. He gives bottom advice to go to top and work things out.
I’m pretty sure the bottom doesn’t realise that he’s in love with the top and that he was just butthurt at being rejected. That’s pretty much all that happens. I’m not sure what ended up being confusing but I see a lot of comments about it.
