Why is the art slightly getting better and why is the plot and quality of the actual chapter getting worse? This latest chapter was 80% frames around other scenes from previous chapters and a recap of what we already know since we literally just read it. That feels like such a cop out. I’d rather wait an extra week or two to get actual plot that can fill up this chapter instead of the filler we got. If it wasn’t for the top tier artwork and style, I probably would have dropped this because although the plot is interesting, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Thankfully this is almost over.
But tbh if I heard my “baby boy” who is now a man and confessed his feelings and he’s now all I have has died.. I don’t think I’ll be alive long enough to hear that it wasn’t true or for said boy to come rescue me. If I had to be with a “king” like this? When he’s the reason I ran away? I’d give in to death and let her swiftly take me away to return to hyo-uns side. I seriously hope he doesn’t and that he waits for hyo-un because he knows he’s special but… I think this is the exact reason why he was reincarnated right? I didn’t sign up for unnecessary SA and incest. Author, you majorly messed up here. None of us care about the second couple and the unnecessary SA and incest was just disgusting. What were you even thinking? I’m so disappointed in yaoi authors thinking “ah it’s gay so let’s put SA in the book even though it has nothing to do with the plot and it’s overused for no good reason and gives being gay a bad rep for people who use manga and manhwa as a resource to study homosexuality!” It needs to stop. We are far too progressive a society as a whole to allow this to be our standard. And even if the SA was necessary, the incest wasn’t. There was no need. Even cousins would have been better than blood brothers! I have no words to say how revolted I am. Author could have put a trigger warning at the start and didn’t. Seriously disappointed.
She should have kicked the prince in the nuts. He doesn’t deserve kids or an heir if he’s going to be a sucky king anyway. He can’t prioritise what is necessary or what is important to the kingdom yet thinks all is well because he’s king? That’s not how it works. A “king” may have authority but it’s only because the people under him gave him the right to it. If you hurt the people, the people will revolt. I hope she makes good on her promise. He deserves to see the consequences of all his actions.
I don’t think he had necessarily “bad” intentions when asking but this isn’t something you spring on the gf you barged into. You ask your sibling first about their circumstances. Also, it’s none of your business in the first place. He had a good heart and came from a kind place but he’s so off base and so wrong for what he did. That may be your baby brother but he’s a grown adult. Treat him like a man who can make decisions for himself and protect himself. Your job as sibling isn’t to “protect from all harm” but rather “help pick up the pieces to keep them whole”. You allow them to travel through life just like you had the luxury of doing but you become their support system for it. If they fall, you pick them up. That’s how it works. As a new older sister myself (my sister just turned 2), it’s been a learning bf curve that I needed to go through myself to realise that I won’t be able to prevent her from falling on the floor or doing dangerous things all the time but I CAN give her a hug and make things as safe as possible while still allowing her her roaming space.
