let me get this straight: the main character is Selena, and her twin brother is Celestine (imma nickname him Cele). Seo something dies, then gets reborn into selena, but has a chance to save her family. In the storyline she reads, Cele attempts to kill his majesty but fails, bc of this his whole family dies? then Seo gets reborn and shi*t. then what happens to celestine to make selena fakes as cele so that her family won't die? And if so, where are her boobs? or is she just flat chested?

When it's time for him to join the army, he rans away with his lover so she has to take his place or her whole family would have been condemned. I suppose she is binding her chest so that they won't realize Celestine is actually a woman.
Novel!Celestine tried to kill the male protagonist because he needed money for the father. Because he fails, the family also gets killed. That's why she made sure that he wouldn't mind so much not having money and instead pursued love. However, that backfires and that's why she has to take his place.
