For those who read the novel, does mr. Shaw and the guy they are with does not survive the bombing on district 6 right? I forgot but i really just wanna clarify it since theres only 500 people can go to the main city including the higher ups ā„ļ¹ā„
It was never specified whatever they survived, it was only implied that they were not on that train so most likely they stayed in the city = they are dead. The outer city was lost because the last protecting systems failed caused by the downpour which let the monsters to get past and the nail to the coffin was the bombing. Both of them had no figting means, Mr Shaw was old and Poet without any weapon +all solders most likely left, even if they managed to survive somehow the bombing probably killed them. At the end of the book there were very few survivors and I doubt Mr Shaw and Poet were among them since the only people who survived until that point were from the Inner City.
