damn the manhwa is not that great lol. I read Restart My Heart and the manhwa was fine, this manhwa made me disappointed in the author. the characters don't make sense even that psychopath trash of ML he went from Did you assume that I'd attract men, to raping ML(in the same chapter) (by reading "This is my first time sucking a man's dick" it's fair to assume he has no experience with other men), to abusing Mc, to wasting money on him and we don't even why, he didn't even seem interested in him in the beginning. It wasn't even that dark as Warehouse or sadistic Beauty Side Story or No Reason at least when I was reading those I felt creeped out and uncomfortable, with this one I felt like I was reading nothing.

I was just gonna say Yori is a gayer version of Maho from D4DJ. I didn't know D4DJ had "the Whispering You a Love Song" OP in their game that is so funny to me. this is the first time I have seen D4DJ associate themselves with a 100% GL anime. anyway, I didn't know the Whispering You a Love Song has an anime I'm surprised and happy. these days my favorite GLs are getting anime.

I'm just here to say it's fine if the main characters didn't end up with each other romantically but still queer. I'm fine with that. But I hate when people diss BL while they are on it by calling it a genre for "gay fetishizers" "BL focuses only on romance" and" only for straight women", even though there are BLs that like to focus on the plot rather than romance like God's ID Card, Mo Dao Zu Shi, Heaven Official's Blessing, Count Tachibana, Necromancer Survival, Tianbao Fuyao Lu, Truth or Dare, Gesshoku Kitan, A Trace of the Wonder. And as a queer woman, there are a lot of BL/GL that I relate to, like Her ShimCheong, Run Away With Me, Girl, Koimonogatari, The Best Smell, and Here U Are, Until I Meet My Husband. Yes, there are a lot of trashy BLs, but at the same time, there are a lot of good BLs about the queer experience. So I don't like when people are saying BL is not LGBTQ+. IT IS LGBTQ+ or can't tackle LGBTQ+ issues because it totally can. For example, there are queer creators who write BL/GL, and you are dissing them for choosing to create for this genre.

It really depends on the country though. In japan queer stories don't get GL/BL tag unless they're focused on romance and just get tagged by other genre tags. You'll find stories that focus on lgbt+ issues that have low romance or don't have any without BL/GL tags. I do kinda wish there was a "クィア" tag or something similar for those stories so they're easier to find :/

in LGBTQ+ there are a lot besides gay like trans- asexual what we do need is LGBTQ+ tag in general. it's just people in the comments were dissing the genre acting like BL/GL can't deal with queer issues like how LGBTQ+ does even though BL is queer and cable of doing it. I know there are many bad ones but people compliment the good BLS then forget they ever read those and diss BL in general.

I agree! I'm nonbinary and consider myself a lesbian/queer. I think bl/gl is queer in general and tbh while a lot of the fans can be straight-hetero I think most of them are queer in some way or another whether that be sexually/romantically or gender-wise. I also believe that these genres help younger queer people feel more in tune with themselves and discover more about themselves. There ARE comics that tackle the debilitating reality that it is to be gay, there ARE more in depth comics where the plot is more important than their relationship.
I also think people forget something: The biggest part in many people's lives is their relationships with people, especially romantically. Some people cannot handle being alone, are afraid of being denied/judged by others, and are wanting to be in relationships. While this doesn't apply to everyone, it applies to the vast majority. Romance tends to take up most of people's minds, even if they just watch movies. Why can't the story's focus be romance/sexual??? How does that make it any less legit or any less queer-oriented? Most gay people I know are afraid of being alone so it's not far fetched for it to be love-oriented.

You are so right for that!!! I do know (this is showing my age) back when Bleach was still airing and coming out with new episodes the creator felt forced to add romance... But why would they need to add romance in a seinen/shounen series??? Maybe because the fan base (which is supposed to be mostly male) wanted to see the main characters end up with someone. Hmmmmmm LMAO
god forbid a story where the top is the MC. fuck do people never get tired of reading the same thing why does it always have the bottom be the mc? or is it because you can't project yourself on the tops?
I do. I've been searching for dom/top mc and I can only find so few. And when I tried to read it guess what, it contains rape! (the bottom is raped by the side chara, not the mc). So fucking sick of authors romanticizing nonconsensual sex. Imo, since most of bl stories are made by females who prefers to write something they can self insert to so they made the mc a bottom. And yeah, it's most likely cause theyre not familiar with making a top as an mc, they can't really make a top mc and it's not popular like bottom mcs
why are u angry omg just go through the top mc tag if that’s what u wanna read
no, I'm complaining about people complaining about the MC being the top every. fucking. time and why they hate it? because they feel like they are reading straight hentai what does that even mean? it's not like BL with a bottom pov safe from rape either; if you want some BLs with a friendly top POV Kiss de Egaku Ittousei - Look Through You - Crossline - Boss Bitch Baby - Momasete Moratte Ii Desu ka? -Dansei Senyou Aroma Massage-ten- Teach Me! - Perfect Replacement. They are a few that why I'm complaining about people whining about MC being the top
I'm angry because every time I go read a BL with a top MC I find a bunch of comments "Why the mc is the top" or "I feel like I'm reading straight hentai" or "Why does it have to be the top" let authors get out of their comfort zone godamn
I understand what you are trying to say. Everyone can have their own choice of preference, but it is wrong for them to say what the author should have done. In my case, if I don't like something, I simply move on to the next one (except if I really want to criticize something).
the problem is we don't even have a lot of BL with the top POV for people to complain about; it's always the bottom that should have a harem or bunch of people fighting over him. like why is everything supposed to be made for you (I don't mean you )? Not all people think the same, I like it better with a top POV.
True, it is rare to see MC to be top and his pov. That's why I really loved "The Third Ending " where we got to see MC pov and he was also top there. Hopefully we will get more manhwa with tops as MC.
