Tbh this manga has all the tropes in shoujo i hate. Love triangles, misunderstandings, onesided feelings, girl does most of the chasing and is usually the only one that gets hurt, guy is useless and still does shit that hurts female lead. However i did manage to read this once upon a time on mangahere. The funny commemts kept me going. That, and Kominato. Kominato is the shit btw he is probably one of my favorite fictional characters in shoujo. If it wasnt for him i could not have finished this manga. He saved it, imo. I loved him so much that when he confessed i cried cause i thought he was finna get his heart broken. Kominato>>> kou and touma for me.
Bruh idk if its cause its 3am here but i was shocked by a lot of the events in this manga. Like i didnt know the eldest son was guy so the scene where he was in bed with the guy woke me up mighty fast. Then right before that he was suddenly kissed by Take(i was NOT expecting that) then Hayato confession scene. I was just shocked by a lot of the events cause the situation, usually dont progress that way in other manga. The characters just did alot of suprising in your fave type of stuff. Still, it couldve been that i was sleepy and thats why i was so shocked all throughout.
I mean its fine, tho Take and Mine obviously have more chemistry then Mine and Hiroi. And tho its obvious Take has begun developing feelings beyond "this is Hiroi bf who i must also love" and that Mine no longer hates him but is attacted to him and feels smth for him. Still tho, i would rlly love to read a manga threesome where all parties involved love and are intimate with each other. Not two on 1. Not two ukes to one seme. Not one seme to two ukes. Just everyone in love.
I recommend this http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/ai_to_makoto_moriyo/
They’re all involved with eachother, there’s only like one part where only two of them have sex without the third party. It can be a little confusing and two of them have issues, but in the end they have a happy ending and they all love eachother equally
I know I'm 2 and a half years late but "I wanna die before I'm 30" is pretty good too !!

I.used to.enjoy this and i like slow burn. I wouldnt even mind if the characters officially get together in the last chapter. But introducing drama for the sake of drama? Rlly? Its like we going in circles. They dont even have to get together, but its annoying how the author is basically ruining fheir characters by making them do things that further the drama of the story, and not the emotional development of the characters. Its one thing if they learn from the conflict, but they just keep rehashing the same stuff, misunderstanding things on their own, not talking abt important stuff etc etc. Its getting old. Like bruh the recent misunderstanding abt the quitting college thing is so random its crazy. Like they were just enjoying themselves. What a random misunderstanding to have, so random that not even manga logic can explain it. Anyway, i might come back when its completed. I just wish the author would introduce relevant, character furthering drama that serves a purpose, ans not just extends the manga length. Believe it or not a manga can be extended without misunderstandings carrying the plot. It rlly can.
I disagree wholly... it's going at a gradual, realistic pace. I feel like I'm reading about actual people instead of fictional characters put through a plot speed run.
It's also not random? Whatever is happening aligns with their current personality. Kouhei is unconfident, pessimistic and overthinks, and he's starting to wonder if he'll drag down Taichi's future just because he's disabled and that's a real fear. They haven't seen each other enough lately to pick up the core of what's wrong, nor do they know the right question to ask. Taichi only has an egging feeling something is off, meanwhile Kouhei is stuck at a crossroad where he's unsure of himself and the future. Taichi has also from the very start of the series, thought college wasn't for him, and he didn't know what to do. Now that he does know what he wants to do and it's not necessary that he needs to go to college. College is also unruly expensive, and his family is poor. There's no point in him staying if that's not where his goals lie.
I don't think it's a pointless drama. We're only a foot into the 3rd volume. I think these are also important trials two people need to work through together.
I just want relevant progression. Like u said, theres so many things they can delve into to make the plot continue(ex. Home situation, what to do in the future) but instead they are making use of misunderstandings. Even with Kouheis personality, yeah, i agree he's pessimistic and insecure however many events in the past would have help him progress or at least made us think he progressed, and then the plot would throw another misunderstanding in there as if we didnt just solve one. It doesnt make sense. Tho we can just agree to disagree. I like slow manga with relevant events. Not just slow manga thats slow due to lack of relevant events and just manages to continue based on misunderstanding. To me, all these built up unresolved problems is unrealistic. All the misunderstanding is unrealistic. I even think Kouhei reaction is unrealistic. But thats just me. Lets agree to disagree.
Sorry to squeeze in the last word but it just sounds like you have a problem with misunderstandings as story device, rather than the immediate discourse within the story (which you keep saying is irrelevant but have yet to state any logical reasoning against)... But I do agree that your expectations of where the story ought to be is just simply different from mine. Perhaps things need to speed up in the world of fiction to seem like logical progress for some, and grow for the better with each chapter...that's perhaps the ideal. But in real life, people with personality issues and deep psychological scars don't exactly fix their problems immediately, even after repeated confrontations. And people who in the first place who don't communicate effectively, won't magically fix it after one or two confrontations. That's not unrealistic... Just my two cents, I work in a shrink's office. Anyway we'll just have to see at the end of the volume. Her books are far longer than normal manga, so there's still time to wrap things up before volume's end.
I love this manga but it feels like we going no where. Like Sei shouldve been just slautered this dude and went back to his cabin with his girl and his dog. Like it aint hat hard. Sei is one of my fave manga characters but can he just suck it up and hurry up and kill this guy. Either that or ditch the whole team and go live on his own with Liv and the dog. Smth gotta give
Ive always enjoyed it when the translators incorporate the slight nuances in accents and speech. Its fun.
Its okay
