When I first started reading this, i didn't really like it that much. I hated Taehyun on the get go and I was pretty meh towards Dayeol. Not to mention there were parts where I felt like the characters were not reacting to the situation in the "right" way. But as the story progressed, we were given more insight on how and why they became who they are now and what their personal struggles were. I started to view both characters in a different way. And although the ending was quite abrupt and somewhat open-ended, I get the feeling that the author wanted to tell the readers, that Taehyun and Dayeol are a work in progress- slowly but surely getting better together over time, both as individuals and as a couple. So for me, essentially, the whole story serves as a long prologue for their love story and all I can do is wish them a happy ending.
