Excellent concept, excellent art. I wanted to like the series but the story is honestly lackluster in my opinion but it may be bc there's only 3 chapters. idk if it's the translation but so far the story/pacing & characters leaves more to be desired. Like You have to turn off your brain to enjoy it. Alot of story elements don't make sense or have not been fleshed out. I.e. how did the king control his empire by making her the only witch? How did he convince people he was able to control when she can use "magic", even if he controls a witch how did he get rid of disease & famine or was it a mere political stunt that lasted 9 years???Has fl just been sitting there like a puppet with no plan at all for 9 years? What are the political power dynamics between the crown & the church? For 9 years how did he ensure she was the only "witch"? What is her role? What is the sociopolitical climate like? Is it just witch bad, control witch good? Dialogue is pretty cliche/cringy idk if it's the translations. But i have not given up hope the story will improve. Hope the plot holes and characters get fleshed out in following chapters if we get them.
