Why do people hate sousuke so much? calling him selfish and all, he was a complex, realistic character.
He was very much level headed and that translates into the actions he took.
He tried to give up on his love because he knew that it would be a nuisance since the deer was the heir and needed to get married and have kids.
And to top it off, he’s told that the reason the one he LOVES lost his powers was to save his life. He realizes that he stole all of his life and potential achievements from him, making shiraha unable to carry his duties anymore because of him, all to save his life, that MC thinks isn’t even worth saving.
So what does he decide to do? Kill himself. To give him back his powers. Like?? He was going to sacrifice himself.
Idk.
Pretty selfless if you ask me.
Literally all of the decisions he takes are for the deer’s benefit.
(The comments made me remember the random incest uuughhhh i was so confused, my mind blocked it out completely from my brain)
Hmm so zen experienced hell in middle school and high school because of reo, and the famous story of him shitting himself was due to rape... wow
So his anal fetish stems from trauma
I’m just so sad for him
I hope harada makes this story somewhat wholesome by at least letting him recover or have a happy ending , but you never know with this author oh my god
Still, i have hope
The translation is cleaaaan! thank you for your hard work
So like did we catch up with the raws now? And if yes, Is the next chapter coming out soon or is it time to switch to the novel?
Also yall hating too much on the saintess, she’s a kid for one, and all she did was breathe, what did she even do wrong at this point, and how could she have known that Kondou was vulnerable to magic, the knight commander made the same mistake at first.
Anyways, she seems nice and her crush on Aresh is cute, she has all the time in the world to grow up, and the fact that she wants to do her job well even tho it’s really not her responsibility to care about this foreign world’s problems is cute and reflects the naivety of young girls in these type of stories
most likely a sheltered life. from her behavior it comes off as getting spoil by everyone around her since childhood or something so she doesnt know much about how life works for people that arent rich and has to work that hard to feel like they have value by working overtime day after day. so to her its like hearing people say that term to discribe them and didnt know its something rude to be saying about someone cuz everyone around her probably saying it
I know that her timing is often... off, but she’s really just a clueless kid, annoying or not, she’s a victim in this situation
I know most ppl are here for the romance but this saint summoning ceremony is wrong on so many levels
Yua probably thinks that she’s living in a fairy tail and is blinded by all the glitter and palace lifestyle, so yes, that can make her a little insensitive to real life problems and situations: like what happened when she talked to kondou the first time
she’s too naive to realize that her situation is actually a kidnapping and doesn't owe this kingdom anything, she’s literally getting brainwashed by her surroundings (*ahem*..the prince) to take her saintess role seriously while all it is is them dumping the responsibility of protecting a whole kingdom on her shoulders.
She’s literally imprisoned in a cage but since its a golden comfortable one with royalty and princes and ikemens and magic.., she doesn’t realize it yet, but she probably will in the upcoming chapters, i think thats the route they’re going for, I’m not sure tho
Great explanation ah!! Spoiler if u havent read d novel:
You totally got this right :> sei also attributed her naivety to the context she lived in before and the context she is living in now. I understand many people here say, "but at 16, i have common sense etc etc". But understand that we all grew up in diff contexts, and if that context is extended or reinforced to the otherworld, whose to tell Yua that something is going wrong? Ofc our dear Sei would, but i just want other readers to look at it logically the way Sei does.
YESSSS i knew it !
While we as readers are experiencing Sei’s life. She, on the other hand is living the shoujo isekai route with the possibility of a reverse harem, and we can also guess that she was probably well off and had a loving family with the way she acts, and now she’s the saintess everyone reveres, she never experienced the hardships of life and her situation is way too different from Kondou who’s thirty(! Hes almost twice her age!!) and was summoned by mistake. So he has no value.
It’s going to take some time, but she’ll get there eventually
I can’t.. I’ve been on a reading spree of this mangaka AND MOST OF HER WORK HAS BEEN DROPPED WHAT?WHY?
She’s so good tho
Time to learn japanese i guess
