Im basically keeping up with this out of nostalgia.
The story is aimless and the development stagnant and the author seems lost with the plot. There was a lot of potential but the author obviously didn’t have it all planned out.
Whats also annoying is the way the yuri character turned out:
The character development of yuri really doesnt make sense and he had no story arc.
Mid-way, Yuri became two dimensional and a caricature of his early self. He was a character with depth in the early chapters but now all traces of that are gone and every chapter is “look at yuri being lowkey psychotic !”
Im not kidding. That’s literally all of what the past 10 to 20 chapters have been : Repetitive and aiming to shock the audience, there’s not one once of development in yuri’s character personality, it’s actually going backwards.
The thing is, the author is obviously making him look all crazy and obsessive on purpose… especially with the way the eyes are drawn… but I really have no idea where they’re going with this unless we switch to a thriller??
I’m just sad because this is wasted potential.

So much build up and so much emotions in the first chapters that the ending felt a little rushed. Like the idea behind the conflict resolution is there and i get it but the execution felt a bit sloppy. like years of emotional turmoil and anguish just for it to get resolved in one chapter? Idk it didn’t feel authentic
Same feelings, i get it, and it's not bad per se but it felt like they rushed a lot of things in the last ch.
Yeah, like, it’s definitely not bad, the setting & conflict were well executed. it just felt a little lackluster because everything was set around misaki’s lack of confidence, jealousy and insecurities, so we’ve been waiting for him to overcome them but it wasn’t even shown, just a passing comment about him playing video games all night and that fixed everything apparently. It’s just a shame because it could’ve been more
Not to mention we didn't see much development from kaname's side, i understand his feelings are strong and all but i wanted to see him put up more fight or at least do the whole "you don't know the value of something until you lose it" it's like he was only waiting for misaki to pick himself up whenever so that they could be together, but well, it's a good read.
I also felt that , Misaki is supposed to hate Kaname and he is also straight, still, by the second chapter he is ready to make out and eventually have sex with him like nothing?? It should't be so easy xd, I like the conflict, I think it was really interesting but the development for them to reach that point felt weird.
I read this last year but i had like 10 chapters left and i picked it up randomly today. Wtf was that ending? All that build up and for what? It actually makes no sense wth are we supposed to take from the last two chapters?? it actually makes no sense and is just so confusing and BAD. Like how can you suck this much as an author im serious.. how can you look at that pile of garbage and submit it .. are you proud of your work or was this an act of rebellion? … there’s no author note no nothing just vibes, astronomically bad vibes, so i guess we’ll never know.
SAME I finished this in 2022 and without the comment section it was hell,,,I was left to swallow my anger over how SHITE that ending was LMFAO still can’t believe how bad this ended it’s straight up as bad as GAME OF THRONES tbh
