The animosity and violence between Ankei and Daijo(?) could be sort of resolved or come to a standstill if they would just say their reasons as to why the resentment is present. To Ankei that man was his mentor and savior, but to Daijo(?) the man used him as scapegoat and invaded his territory and was abusing the woman Daijo grew fond of. That old ass man had his moments but I think (me personally) who he was at his final moments was just horrible.
It's all just very difficult because it's understandable but.......I'm not rooting for the old man
But other than that, their differences in morals are starting to appear in their children and I just want the village to accept them and that mayor's daughter is a thorn at my side always scared that she's gonna do something

Maybe but it's mentioned several times that it was the same one. He looks older because when Daija meets the monk for the second time years have passed since he last saw him and Ankei mentioned that his mentor monk left to another town and that the mentor monk had chased Daija off his territory(confirmed by the best friend monk) (but maybe they are all unreliable narrators and it isn't the same one but they look the same....guess we'll have to wait to have that confirmed)

But what was that comment about being put off?? Does Shingun only like him when he's dangerous? Is it because Jake is now showing who he really is and it's throwing him off? ( -_・)?

Yeah I think that it's because up until now Jake mostly only showed Shin his calculative side and there was always a goal he wanted to achieve but now that Jake is actually acting like the down bad boyfriend he is Shin is put off cause he still doesn't trust Jake and probably thinks Jake just wants to use him
I'm jealous of BOFF of them luscious ass and Courtney my queen....(´- `*)
