I dropped this because it got boring but I read through again because it has an ending. Ending was satisfying and did not disappoint. I think I'm also just exhausted of manhwas never ending or just being dropped and forgotten. This one has closure and it's pretty good.
To the people complaining about the very little (it's not even focusing on it) romance subsubsubplot...
Please stop adding a new comment...just reply on the multiple similar comments before you every time a single chapter simply hints of a possible romance...

I really like how this isn't simply an OP MC manhwa one-punching everyone along the way. Chung Myung grows as a mentor from being selfish while the supporting characters are likeable enough that you also root for them to grow OP shounen style.

nah. maybe not waste majority of the chapter talking about it and just getting the major plot points across. the chapter can be reduced to the last third and it'd still get the point across.
it's been too slow. they dragged so many chapters that lead to him signing with them...so many repeat flash backs...idk if the artist was just trying to add filler art but it feels thats way.
Maybe you should try reading some slow burns cause that’s how they work. Repeat flashbacks are all just mc’s monologue. We saw the ml talk for like what? One chapter? Yet we all can guess what kind of person ML was. Novels tend to add a lot of details to make them realistic. The webtoon is not leaving anything behind so if a slow burn burns a little too slow for you just let it marinate and come back later to read it.
They're following the novel exactly (which I'm more than happy about considering what just happened to December) -- and in fact this is actually moving faster than the novel, this story is very heavily based on their past and their background in swimming, so you're gonna have those repeated flashbacks, that's just how their relationship really started from that moment, so you might just have to let it marinate cause these chapters are setting up the foundation

Yes it’s best to let it marinate, the novel has 189 chapters and 79 side chapters it’s gonna be a while, but definitely come back, it’ll be worth it
The art is really good so I'm sure it's worth the wait.
