You know what girlies, enjoy TJ while you can, I know it, you know it… Jo IS the endgame. I don’t want phantom the ideia of Ian choosing him bc there’s no other possibility, meaning: TJ dies in a dramatic way. The best scenario is them realizing they are toxic for each other and *both* be held accountable of their awful choices, but still acknowledge that it was important, they were importante for each other, they love each other, but it will not work in this lifetime, maybe in the next (?). Ian decided to step back bc it was never what his heart truly wanted, but due to his circumstances and fate it was the only path to make at the time, now he is older and more experienced and take back control and live for himself, be proud of his own life, the only one who can give that to him is Jo. And I know, right now it doesn’t feel like the obvious choice, why would Ian abandon TJ, they look like they are made for each others, they are all they ever know, but that’s the thing, we as audience feel the discomfort, the disconnection with and the chemistry with TJ and it feels silly to even imagine Jo as a possibility, but we are walking towards that realization WITH Ian, it’s him story, he is making his own path, getting out of the comfort zone is terrifying and exhausting, we don’t feel like it’s worth the trouble to be with Jo, but obv he already took a step forward and reality will always come to make a check and test what he really want with his life, so in the very end… Jo it is.
