What’s Yeodan asking her? It’s like the equivalent of “would you still love me if I was a worm?” Or “if (X event) had happened, would we even be together?”
She’s dating you, period! Just be happy and communicate your feelings. I mean, yes I suppose she needs to give him some more time considering the fact that they’re dating, but she’s not forcing herself to date him. There’s no need to randomly bring up “if X hadn’t happened would you have dated me?” Because it happened and she IS dating you. Even irl these hypothetical scenarios annoy me It’s just dismissing the other person’s feelings.

It’s clear that she likes both of them (although it seems to be leaning more towards guilt rather than love), but if JY is end-game (I think the story will be more interesting if he is) then both of them will need to be 100% honest with each other. He needs to calm down and become less obsessive, and she needs to stop feeling guilty for almost ruining him.
I don’t think she needed to scold the maid tho?? Just tell her to get out and bandage herself up before she hurts herself even more, she would’ve left immediately because the FL is in a higher position of power. The author could’ve made her assertive yet still caring :/
fr bc there was no reason to be that mean when the girl was clearly already scared AND injured or she could have even done the whole indifferent/sigh "you're dismissed" act instead of outright yelling at her omg...
Literally there’s no need to force the villainess persona on her
I think if she didn't frighten her away, she would have looked at the Duke for answers when he obviously wasn't looking too well. She was just trying to hide his symptoms best she could, and I think it probably wouldn't have worked any other way. She was convincing that way. She was able to keep the butler out as well, being "angry".
But she wouldn't have left as fast if mc was kind to her, she would've been like awh you're so kind which by then the maid would've seen the ml pass out which can't happen. So her choice of action was best to keep the secret and it's a good excuse. Being angry does not equal being evil too, the maid brought her peach stuff as well as spilling it on her million gold dress trust only slow ppl in the manwha will see her as evil bc she got mad
