I wasn’t expecting a 3p at the end but the last 3 chapters had very little sexy time. I guess that juicy extra was enough to kill us.
I get why having an ex show up can move their relationship forward but there was so little info and backstory it felt like he was barely a character. Why did they break up 2 years ago? Why did he even come looking for Kuro? He had drugs in his mouth at the ready in case akane showed up? Went as far as getting hotel and bait his ex and let’s them both go without a fuss? I don’t get it.
Guess I found out Time travel NTR rape isn’t for me. I felt sad for everyone. Isn’t it essentially revenge rape taken out on innocent guys? Those kids gotta live with that, while future selves can shrug it off. Sexy scenes but I was turned way off by the premise. I’ve read NTR and rape and time travel yaoi before but this made me mad at the rapists. I wish I could put the sex scenes in a different manga to reread but I can’t stomach rereading this one in particular.
At first I was weirded out that the guy was going after the son of a girl he used to like. But after a while it didn’t seem to affect the characters or story at all so I wonder if it’s just an unnecessary detail to the story. Their past meeting As child/adult barely mattered too. I thought it would add some layer to the story but it just zigged and zagged. Their story seemed to have enough going on without it.
I wish the story continued for more volumes because I love the dynamic of the main couple. What I don’t like is the yuu/mayuki couple. It’s just not believable or fun, it doesn’t help that it pales in straight comparison. I think even the author sensed that it wasn’t believable because she included a bonus chapter in a different manga about them, trying to convince me that they really had something (nope, just feels like Yuu finally got caught by someone pushy enough that he can’t say no to. That doesn’t feel like a connection to me at all. Kinda feel Bad for them because it seems they won’t last.)
Relieved that sexy time was shown after they got older, because Hiyo is so small.
And I liked that couple more, I didn't like the super fluffy one LOL
