I saw you never got you answer on the Mercenary King; Ian/Reian/Rayan [however they want to spell his name....] had been helped by the FL before she was "spirited away" to the other world [Korea] and had with the FL's mother's help been able to find her and was determined to help her since he knew her future. He's the ML and a lovely green flag that is so green you'd want to keep him yourself. ^^
