it's the author's way of making money. on tapas [the source] the smut scenes are censored or removed & only available to those that pay the author's patreon monthly. Since mangago is an illegal site the scanlation groups can't really control this unless they pay more for chapters on patreon.

App stores have their own content guidelines - and most will cut out explicit material so they can be approved to distribute the app in those stores. (It's the same reason you won't get adult content in the official Lezhin app, but you can get it in the Lezhin Plus Android app that you have to manually download and install outside of the GP Store.)
