So she doesn’t get to go back to her real world because as she was in the game her body died. The mirror shows her real life funeral where her brothers are blaming her for her death. She dies of malnutrition (makes sense considering her real body never got the nourishment it needed while she was in game)… so she has no choice but to stay in the game world as she has replaced the penelope that used to live in the game since she is dead.

Shes in a coma, she got put into a coma due to overwork and it resulted in stomach cancer in her real world, shes on a ventilator. Her brothers are by her side the way calisto was. But even so i don’t think she’s going to want to go back by the end of the day. The scene i described earlier was a scene yvonne showed her through the mirror fragment.

She will stay with Callisto and have a daughter but her daughter sometimes has nightmares in which she says mommy dont go and later on that mirror is broken or repaired cant remember but she can see her real world and her og family can see her. They say they're sorry and they want her back but she says she doesn't want to and that she has a family to return to and hugs her daughter telling her she won't leave her

Oh and her real body dies. Penelope kinda kills her original body by taking the plug out i read the novel a long time ago so that's the pretty much the vibe

just wanna add, during the times before Penny finally killed her body in our world, Callisto has been suffering for months and cannot sleep because he's terrified to wake up one day that Penny went back to her other world, their daughter's also having the dreams of her mother leaving. So after Penny pulled the plug of life support and her other body died, she went back to Callisto's world and destroyed the mirror (i forgot who destroyed it, was it Penny, their daughter? or it got destroyed on it's own after using the magic) but after that finally Callisto manage to finally get proper rest. Poor Callisto, one of the best ML i've seen, so glad of their happy ending Q.Q

Wait I read somewhere that she was the original Penelope and she died so many times her soul scattered. Part of her was reborn as the human her, that she's trying to go back too before she ended up in the game. So she was always the original Penelope.
