I was in literal tears when rin started forgetting stuff. I mean I struggled at the first part, some how I knew they had the wrong partners but it was just to beautiful to not keep reading. I swear I cryed the entire time reading. This is the best omegaverse Manga that I've read in a long time

alot of the angst is from the secondary couple it seems not the primary one. kaoru/yuka are fine, they stay together. the "twist" is that yuka didnt end up with his fated pair but he ends up with a guy who loves him. since his actual fated pair was a douchebag and only realized how badly he fucked up and missed out on his ~fated~ match when it was too late. so the second half of the story is him mourning what he lost (serves him right tbqh) and uh getting close with a omega that is kind of what yuka (the omega in the first couple) could've been if kaoru (his childhood bff and alpha) hadnt saved him and took care of him early on. and i havent gotten this far yet but it seems Rin (the omega in the second pairing) cannot catch a break and got some kind of amnesia (apparently Rin was Kaoru's fated pair, idk if kaoru finds out or not he's def happy to be with Yuka, so its more Rin's loss since the result was him experiencing like a decade of misery until he meets Taiga and...eventually they fall in love i giss?). so yeah its happy but also not? since everyone gets to have love but not before alot of angst and idt Rin is like ever cured. i guess all the shit he went thru wasnt enough they threw in some abo Alzheimers. smh. anyway i do plan to finish it tho but if ur worried about Yuka and Kaoru dont be cause they're fine.

finished it and haha its pretty happy at the end. Rin seems like he is recovering and Taiga genuinely repents and becomes a better person and devotes himself to Rin. both rin and kaoru find out about their "missed" fate but Kaoru is 100 percent not here for it and is steadfastly on the "Yuka is my KING" train to the end. and meanwhile Rin who has been miserable the whole time is determined to get Kaoru to love him since no one else will and he's the only good alpha ever and it was really pitiful. like Rin was so pitiful i got teary over him ngl. i was happy when he finally got the TLC he deserves from Taiga and its not alzeimers thankfully which is degenerative, and this suppressant related side effect of memory loss doesnt seem to affect his ability to like...live like a person. he just forgot a bunch of memories from the period he was on the pills cause this is a fantasy story lol. anyway i was fine with the ending, he's not magically cured but he's getting there and kaoru gets that type of pill p much discontinued so no one else has to deal with what Rin did anymore. its very wholesome overall i'd say.
This entire time I was literally just simping over all the characters. This was a cute story, but they had no right to make those characters so hot. (Someone please get me. I swear I'm not always this thirsty.)
