Rachana July 17, 2020 11:38 pm

can someone please explain to me why the F did she choose him again--of ALL the men you could choose, you chose him....sdfasdfjs

    babyv02 July 18, 2020 1:16 am

Cause she didn’t really have a choice. She had to marry him cause he had more power than her family in order to not be forced to marry the king of another kingdom

idk that's just what most translators on insta do and I'm sure no one wants to start anything or seem rude by trying to pick up a series someone else is working on

Rachana May 20, 2020 3:19 pm

no joke, this series advocates a bad message by saying love or staying in toxic relationships can change people—NO, IT CANT. you can’t change someone, they change themselves. this is such a toxic relationship and she clearly needs to dump him no matter how much she pities or loves him. he’s emotionally manipulating her and guilting her into staying with him. i’m extremely disappointed because i’d hoped the FL had some backbone after 24 chapters ugh

    Reader May 20, 2020 3:23 pm

me too, I'm hoping for character developpment. Something that'll change them and make them realize that if they truly love each other they'll only want what is best for one another.

Rachana May 10, 2020 5:38 pm

is the next season coming out soon? or is there just a lack of updates..?

    Rachana May 11, 2020 11:55 pm

update: according to kakaopage (original updates from korea) it updated today so translators should be working on it right now. there are two new chapters out in raw. to translators; thank you so much! we appreciate and love your effort for this manhwa.

I'm not even joking this hits the spot every time; the Prince is a hottie, the ML is snarky, smart, and imaginative, plus a good amount of girly. It's nice to see a girl who isn't a tomboy at every chance (no offense to tomboys in general) and embodies a natural air of kindness. The plot is actually GOOD, and the princess (god bless her I love her to pieces) is one of my favorite characters though she may be an obstacle in their relationship. I hope this love develops naturally. All the characters are humorous and divulge their own insecurities and emotions at proper times, and the friendships feel properly done as well.

Is season 1 technically over? is that why there's a long break between chapters?

Rachana May 4, 2020 7:44 pm

Okay, obviously Son-Won is going to die by the end, he has to. he's the main antagonist and has the fatal bloodline death thingy. Yona is practically destined to take the throne UNLESS she decides to go all America on us and make it a republic/democracy.
I hate to be that person, but Hak might actually die. I KNOW. I love him the most too, he's my bae and I will probably murder the author if he dies. But it seems inevitable and being built up by this point--at the beginning, someone (Zeno?) comments that Hak has the "scent of death" on him. Hak is always the target of attacks, and he's been able to survive most incidents due to his will, but how long will he last? I really want a happy ending for him, and it is certainly possible, but according to the thematic element of the story, Hak might either die in battle, like he should, or become a consort to the princess/personal guard.
the one death I will support is Zeno's. I believe the temple of Hiryuu has the power to take Zeno's immortality away, and at the end of the story, the four dragons will cease to exist and these four will live the rest of their lives without their powers. Zeno has been living for two thousand years, according to the story, it would only be correct to give him death as an end to his character arc. He deserves to be reunited with Kaya (was that her name?)
The four dragons might die in the final battle. It could happen, but I have no evidence to support it.
Though this is a death predictions comment, I would like to add that Yona might be the last reincarnation of Hiryuu, the first and the last. It seems like Hiryuu came down again to do something (SWORD AND THE SHIELD SOMEBODY) and leave with the four dragons with him. It would be fitting if this was the end to the cycle of the dragons and all the pain each dragon and predecessor has had to endure.
I know someone's going to say "Yona could die" and I would like to agree with you. She could, but it wouldn't be in character of the story. Yona is Hiryuu. She has to live, and she's the main protagonist. She CANNOT die. And I'm not saying this out of my love for her, which could fill an ocean, but because of the question, who would rule? Yona dying would be a miserable death, though it COULD happen.
Can anyone confirm what the next part of the prophecy is? What about the sword and the shield? Ever since Iksoo said it'll need more time to appear, they dropped the prophecy. And what about Yona's powers? Will she have to harness that for the final battle?

    Dan May 5, 2020 8:18 am

Partly i agree what you said here(not about Hak, can't do that to my bro). Zeno death is possible at the end and I belive he will find some kind of happiness in this, since is like you he lived for years. About other dragons im not sure if they loose their Powers and live normalna, I may be wrong but if there is already "born" new dragon then probably they will die, and I think there was in one chapter that one of the dragon said there was born baby with dragons Blood. About prophecy I think sword is Soowon and I think he filled part of that prophecy, I mean he changed a country compared to how it was when Il was a King, so lets Say he create all of this for Yona knowing he will die and she will take the throne back. Shield must to be Hak here it's nothing to Say he did his job like a real Shield protecting the Princess. Oh that thing you said about Hak that he has a death on him, i think it was the time when he wanted to kill Soowon and that Zeno's meant when he said those words. Honestly since they came to this castle and nów that we See story of Yuhon and yonhi story it reminds me a Little of a Game of Throne, I know it sound ridiculous but if use are imagination and assume that Hak is Yuhon son so he would have rights to the throne, Yona on the other hand remind me of Danny. Yona can die in the fight or protecting someone like for example Hak and it would be that Shield from prophecy. Well thats all for now I know some part of what I said sound crazy.

    Miraitsuki May 5, 2020 5:35 pm

Hak dying is highly unlikely, and very uncharacteristic of the mangaka considering how all he other works ended. Moreover, everyone seems to make assumptions without considering that this is still a shoujo manga, where the ML dying is already unlikely but considering what magazine it’s being published in makes it that much more unlikely. The mangaka still has to get the ok from the publisher, and killing Hak off when he’s so incredibly loved in Japan would really lower her favorability among fans, thus lowering sales, and that’s something that no publisher wants. They could probably kill off any other character, but not ML and FL

Okay, a lot of people are saying they love Luke and Bina's relationship, and I do... too? But am I only one who sees the emotionally manipulative and toxic signs in both of them, especially Luke? Like the part where he's spiraling down when Bina is testing him (at the bridge between worlds part) and thinks about cutting off her legs and killing her? Is that just the translation error??? (I know he comes to the conclusion that she has to choose him herself, nevertheless, the deterioration of that chapter scared me so much. It was around chapter 75 I think) At the beginning, the way he's seducing her is calculating, planning it out inch by inch, step by step. There are some vulnerabilities that solidify their relationship, but by the end of the crossroads part, he hugs her and says "I'll be your world." But aren't those the words of someone who wants to own the other??? Again, Bina is just as shrewd and wouldn't easily let herself fall in love with someone who has bad intentions with her, so I might be completely wrong on this topic. To clear up any misunderstandings, I wrote this right when I finished Bina's reluctance to go back to Korea. Please share your thoughts below, maybe I'll update when I finish this. However, I love the story progression and the characters VERY much. Maybe I misinterpreted the author's intention.

Yup when he said maybe I should cut off her feet I was like lmfao he’s going yandere route. He might just have a foot fetish tho. But I think that they’re relationship definitely improved over the course of the story. And in the end they were pretty equal

    Bchan May 1, 2020 6:28 am

It's not weird for you to think that way. Throughout the start of it some of the events raised a few red flags for me. Though it's not surprising since the nature of how their relationship started.. also they're in it coz the situation was equally beneficial for the two of them. Luke may have viewed it as Bina agreeing to a business partnership of sort. He wasn't sure how he could appeal to Bina so showering her with affection seemed the only way since he knows he can't buy her with anything. As for the forest scene, it's prolly just pure desperation on his end.. same with Bina I guess, her explaination made a bit of sense for me. In an unknown world, she desperately needed an assurance. Something that she can help her firmly stand on with her own two feet. She's decided to turn her back on her previous life so it only makes sense to check if Luke would care enough to make sure that there will be no doubts about it later on.

Tldr; they're both calculative people who were perfect for each other. XDDDD
